How should I prepare my artwork for screen printing?

Edited

For screen printing, for best results please supply vector format artwork in AI, EPS, PDF, or SVG format. Each colour in your design will be separated onto its own screen, so solid, clearly defined colours produce the cleanest results. While some gradients can be replicated through creating "half tones" within a design, in general it is best practice to avoid gradients or shadows, screen printing is best for bold, flat colours.

If designing in Adobe Illustrator or a similar software program, please ensure that all text in a design is converted to outlines or "curves" to prevent font issues when we open your vector file on our computers. If a vector file is not available, please provide a raster file set up in 300 PPI (pixels per inch) resolution so that our team can cleanly convert it to the necessary vector format. Our team will review and adjust anything needed before sending you a final digital proof for approval.
