What resolution should my artwork be?
For digital print methods like DFT (Direct-Film-Transfer), for best results we require artwork to be at least 300 PPI (pixels per inch) at the final print size. This ensures your design stays sharp and doesn’t appear pixelated once printed. For example, if your logo will print at 10 inches wide, an image file created in Adobe Photoshop should be 10 inches wide at 300 DPI. The best file format for screen printing is vector (.AI, .EPS or .PDF) but we can often times convert a rastor like like a .JPEG or .PNG into vector format, if it is provided in high enough resolution quality.
Images pulled from the web are typically 72 DPI and will appear blurry or jagged when enlarged. If you’re unsure about resolution, our team can check the file for you and let you know if it’s production-ready or needs a redraw.
