What’s the preferred file format for the best print quality?

Edited

The best format for production is always a digital vector file, typically ending in .AI, .EPS, or .PDF. Vector files are made up of points and paths instead of pixels, meaning they can be scaled infinitely without losing sharpness. This ensures your lines stay crisp and your shapes stay perfect, no matter how large or small the print.

For digital methods like DFT (Direct-Film-Transfer), we can also work from high-resolution PNG files (300 DPI) with transparent backgrounds. These preserve detail and colour accuracy when printed directly onto garments or patches. Our design team will always review and optimize your file before it’s used in production to guarantee professional results.
