How accurate are your print colours?

Edited

Screen printing is the most colour-accurate process we offer. It uses the Pantone Matching System (PMS), which allows for precise colour control and consistency across reprints. We maintain a large in-house library of pre-mixed Pantone inks to choose from, and we also offer custom Pantone matching for an additional fee. Custom matching requires extra setup and mixing time, so it may slightly extend your turnaround.

Digital print methods like Direct-Film-Transfer (DFT) don’t use Pantone inks and can vary slightly in colour output depending on your provided file type, colour profile, and the garment material. While we calibrate our printers regularly for consistency, digital printing can’t match the same precision as traditional screen printing.

For embroidery, colours come from our thread library, which includes about 65 standard thread colour shades. Custom thread colour matching is available upon request for an additional charge if you need a specific tone that isn’t already in our stock library.

Keep in mind that colours displayed on your computer or phone screen may differ slightly from real-world print and thread colours due to screen brightness and device settings. If exact colour matching is critical for your project—such as when reproducing a brand logo—please flag this early with your account executive so we can plan accordingly and provide proofing options before production.
