What’s the difference between unisex, women’s, youth and toddler sizing?

Unisex sizing is typically the same as men’s sizing, a straight cut with a bit of room in the chest and shoulders. However, the feel of unisex sizing varies by brand. More fashion forward brands like Bella + Canvas offer a more modern, true unisex fit that works well for most body types. Some other brands like Comfort Colors leans toward a more traditional, relaxed and boxier fit for their unisex tees.

Women’s sizing is more tailored, with narrower shoulders, a slimmer silhouette, and a shorter overall body length. Whenever a women’s version is available, we clearly flag it on the product name and page.

Youth sizing is available for many tees, hoodies, and performance items. Youth sizes always appear separately in the product name and options to avoid confusion with unisex or women’s items.

We also offer toddler sizing for select styles, great for family events, and matching kids’ apparel. Toddler sizes are listed separately in product names and pages just like youth sizes.

In the case that a group is placing an order via email, it is important that when information is sent to us, any requested ladies or youth sizes are clearly indicated (example: "Youth Large" rather than "Large"). Orders placed with us via email are processed as adult unisex sizing unless indicated by a customer.
