How should I wash garments with patches?

Edited

Garments with patches are low maintenance, but a few simple steps go a long way in keeping them looking new. Wash inside out in cold water, and use a gentle cycle to reduce friction against the patch edges. Avoid harsh detergents or bleach, and always skip the high-heat dryer setting—excessive heat can weaken adhesives and fade colours.

For best results, hang drying or tumble drying on low heat will keep your patch looking sharp and intact. If your patch is sewn rather than heat-pressed, it can easily withstand regular laundering and even commercial washing.
