What are Woven Patches, and what are they best used for?
Woven Patches use tightly woven threads to create fine detail without the raised surface texture of traditional embroidery. The result is a smooth, flat finish with crisp lines and sharp definition, perfect for designs that have small text, intricate shapes, or subtle details.
These are excellent for corporate logos, apparel lines, or retail collections where clarity and precision matter. Woven patches have a minimum of 50 units and a turnaround of about 4 weeks, since they’re made using specialized weaving equipment and have a longer setup time. The cost per unit of woven patches drops quickly for larger orders, so customers are also welcome to place a larger bulk order and have our team store their extra patches on site at our facility for their future orders. For quicker turnaround times, embroidered or laser etched patches can be a better option for rush orders.
They’re ideal for customers who want something between embroidery and print—clean, professional, and versatile. The threads give a subtle sheen under light, adding polish without the thickness of traditional embroidered patches.
