What kinds of designs work best for Embroidered Patches?

Edited

Embroidered patches work best for logos or designs that use solid shapes and minimal fine detail. Because embroidery uses real thread stitched into a twill backing, it can’t reproduce very small text or gradients precisely. Designs that rely on strong outlines, distinct borders, and bold colour blocks translate beautifully.

If your logo includes lots of small lettering or fine texture, you might consider switching to a Woven or Laser Engraved Patch, which can handle higher resolution. However, if you want a patch with depth, texture, and character, embroidered patches remain a favourite, they look handcrafted and feel premium on almost any garment.
