Can DFT handle detailed or small designs?
Absolutely. DFT technology excels at fine detail and small-scale designs that traditional screen printing might struggle to reproduce. Because the artwork is digitally printed onto the film before transfer, every line, texture, and gradient comes through with sharp clarity, even tiny text or intricate patterns. After the transfer is pressed onto the fabric and removed, all that remains on the surface is the bonding layer of adhesive, the white ink base layer, and the CMYK colour top layer of ink.
It’s especially well-suited for modern logos, illustrated art, or graphics that include shadows within the artwork, highlights, or thin outlines. The adhesive layer ensures all details fuse cleanly to the garment, so nothing distorts over time. If your design includes fine lettering or thin borders, DFT is often the best way to preserve that precision without the risk of bleeding or smudging that can happen with other print processes.
Even at small sizes, DFT prints maintain legibility and crispness, making them perfect for left chest prints, sleeve hits, or detailed brand marks that demand a professional finish.
