How durable are DFT prints?

Modern DFT prints are impressively durable, they’re designed to last the 50 washes on a garment under proper wear and washing conditions. The ink and adhesive layer fuse deeply into the fabric fibers, creating a flexible bond that resists fading, and peeling.

When cared for properly (cold wash, inside out, low heat dry), DFT prints maintain their vibrancy for dozens of washes. They’re also more resistant to abrasion than older transfer styles, so the surface stays smooth and clean. Many of our clients are surprised by how well DFT holds up, it’s durable enough for workwear, team apparel, and everyday use, not just promotional or giveaway tees.
