What is DFT (Direct-Film-Transfer)?

Edited

DFT (Direct-Film-Transfer) is a modern printing technology that produces vibrant, full-colour designs through a digital printing process. CMYK ink is printed onto a special transfer film, which is then heat-pressed onto the garment. Unlike the older, heavy heat transfers you might remember from years ago, DFT prints are thin, flexible, and long-lasting. The ink is digitally printed and bonded using heat, resulting in a softer hand feel than traditional vinyl transfers with a sharp, detailed finish that looks professional on nearly any fabric. Some printers refer to this as "Direct-To-Film" printing as well.
