What types of garments are not suited for embroidery?

Edited

Garments made from thin, stretchy, or lightweight fabrics, such as performance tees, athletic wear, or windbreakers, aren’t ideal for embroidery. The tension and density of stitching can cause these materials to stretch, pucker, or distort. We can sometimes stabilize them, but the results are rarely as clean as on heavier fabrics. For those styles, we usually recommend digital printing or heat-applied transfers, which maintain the same design quality while keeping the fabric soft and flexible.
