What garments are best for embroidery?

Edited

Embroidery looks best on medium- to heavyweight garments such as fleece crewnecks, hoodies, canvas jackets, and structured hats. These materials hold stitches firmly and showcase thread texture beautifully. Lightweight or very thin performance fabrics can pucker or stretch under needle tension, which is why we typically recommend print-based options for those cases.

We can embroider on both flat and structured surfaces, but the key factor is stability. Garments like heavier cotton twill polos, canvas work jackets, and premium beanies are excellent candidates. If you’re not sure whether your product is suitable, our team will review the garment specs and advise you on whether direct embroidery or an alternative method (like printing or custom patches) will deliver the best long-term result.
